The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Service Desk Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for providing internal customer support for IT-related issues. Primarily, you will act as a 1st Line Support Engineer, but you may also be assigned more advanced system administration tasks depending on your skills and capabilities.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Registering, prioritizing, and documenting incoming questions and service desktickets, and routing the tickets to relevant teams if needed.

  • Supporting customers locally in the office and remotely.

  • Installing and configuring software on customer equipment.

  • Performing routine software and hardware maintenance.

  • Working closely with the IT team to resolve any IT-related issues.

  • Performing routine access management tasks (password resets, enabling/disablingusers, etc.).

  • Performing some system administration tasks (specified additionally, with education provided if needed).

  • Providing customers with guidelines and producing user manuals.

 

What you need for this Position

  • Advanced user of Windows, MacOS, and Unix systems.

  • Basic understanding of MS Active Directory and computer networking, including DHCP, DNS, and OSI model.

  • Eagerness to grow professionally in IT.

  • Customer-oriented mindset.

  • Accuracy, punctuality, and discipline.

 

Nice to Have

  • Some scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python).

  • At least one year of working experience in a similar position.
